recipe of beet root cake


INGREDIENT
Grated beetroot-1/2 cup
All purpose flour-1.5cups
Cocoa powder-3 teapoons
Powdered sugar-3/4 cup
Olive oil-1/2 cup
Synthetic white vinegar-1 teaspoon
Baking powder-1 teaspoon
Baking soda-1/2 teaspoon
Milk- 1/2-3/4 cup(as per requirement)
Vanilla essence-7-8drops
Pinch of salt
METHOD
Step1
Mix sugar and oil thoroughly till it becomes light and fluffy.This gives your  final  cake a tender crumb.By beating the two ingredients together,the sugar aerates the oil.This creates fine bubbles in your batter and give lightness and volume to Beet cake.
Step2 
Add grated Beetroot in this.
Step3
Sift together all purpose flour+baking powder+baking soda+cocoa powder+pinch of salt two three times properly.Never try to skip this step cause mixing of dry ingredients is essential.
Step4
Now add flour into sugar oil mixture in steps by cut and fold method.Add milk to attain thick ribbon like consistency.Mix gently.Cut and fold method simply means that you have to mix by making figure of eight.
Step5
Pour the batter in greased tin and bake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes at 150°C.Check by pricking a knife.If it comes out clean then cake is done.
Step6
Take out the dish from oven.cool completely and invert on another plate.
Step7
To decorate it you can use variety of things like whipped cream,cream cheese or white chocolate.
Your yummy cake is ready to serve!!

Step by step method with pictures how to make Beetroot cake

1.Mix 3/4 cup powdered sugar and 1/2 cup oil thoroughly.


2.Add Vanilla essence (7-8drops) too.

3.Sift together refind flour (1.5cup), Baking powder (1teaspoon), baking soda (1/2 teaspoon) ,cocoa powder and pinch of salt 2-3 times


4.Now add this flour into sugar-oil mixture in steps and also add milk as per requirement by cut and fold method.

5.Add grated beetroot into the batter and mix gently.
6.Now add 1-teaspoon white vinegar in this batter and mix gently.Vineger helps to hold the red colour of beet  and als help in raising the cake .
7. Pour this batter into greased baking dish.(thick ribbon consistency)
7.Bake in oven on 150°c for 35-40 minutes.Check by inserting knife.If knife comes out clean then your cake is done.
7.Take out the dish.Leave for 15-20 minutes.Then take out the cake.
8.Decorate it with whipped cream and icing sugar as per your imaginations😋😋
9.Serve to your family and friends for various health benefits😊😊
